DIVA'S WORLD - CUSTOM MADE
It was just ok. They don't have alot of animals. I feel like we paid $11 per adult & $8 a child just to stroll around and walk. This zoo has been here to many years not to be full of animals. Well I guess I got my workout in on this Sunday.

Always a fun experience. We don't even live in WI, but our family comes to the New Zoo many times every year. Feeding the giraffes and farm animals is a must. Make sure you find out what time those things are happening on the day you plan to go and plan accordingly, you won't want to miss out. The mining sluice is always a big hit with our children.

Fun zoo! First time ever going. We usually go to Milwaukee but we just didn’t feel like fighting the crowds on Fathers Day. The NEW Zoo offers free admission to fathers on Father’s Day so that was nice. Feeding the Giraffe was a blast! A couple areas of the zoo were unfortunately closed due to short staffing but it’s tough to be upset because that seems to be the case just about everywhere these days. We all got in for $20 and it took about an hour to see it all. Perfect for our little family, especially with the baby.

Great time, of course not all animals were in the mood to entertain. Definitely will be back. Also the Adventure Park was a lot a fun also, zipline and rock wall. Friendly/knowledgeable staff. I would advise checking the website for hours/rates as well as what time of year certain portions of the adventure park are a available. Thanks for visiting

It is absolutely worth the drive! Go on a cooler day!
11$ adults, seniors & kids 8$ kids 3 and under free!! Great place to bring family!
They have appropriate places to be warm and dry and safe from natural disasters. A lot of the animals, such as bears, wolves, moose, otters, turkeys, penguins, cougars, etc. that live there already come from places where it gets bad in the winter, so really, they're almost spoiled!
We have African Penguins here at the NEW Zoo!
Regular wheelchairs are available at no cost. Just ask for one upon arrival.
Yes, we have some positions open. Visit newzoo.org/get-involved/employment to learn more
Our current giraffes are Nigel and Zuri.
We have enough trees to meet our needs for the year and are no longer accepting them. Thank you for checking!
One adult female moose: Matilda
Not a large aquarium. Not like the Milwaukee zoo. There is an area with snakes and other reptiles
Yes, they are
Admission to the NEW Zoo is currently $9 per adult and $6 per child or senior aged 62+. Kids under 3 are free. These prices are valid through the end of 2019.
We offer birthday party packages that you can book through us in advance if you're interested in that sort of celebration. We do not have any discounts or other sales/etc if you come to the zoo on your birthday, if that's what you mean.
Rollie actually DOES still live here - but he lives behind the scenes. He regularly participates in a variety of educational programs and presentations. :)
There are wagons available to rent. They are just $3 for the day
I wouldn't recommend bringing a dog unless it is a service dog.
Parking is free. However, the parking lot is always packed. You would be able to get in, but there would be no place for you to park a rig of that size.
Not inside the zoo itself, but they have a parking lot just across the street that you can eat a packed lunch if you don't mind a little tailgating.
Yes, every day 365 days a year. At least I remember reading that on their website.
The previous responses are correct, except giraffes are always available inside when it's cold, in the Giraffe Discovery Center building. Most animals do remain on exhibit, aside from the few that are very temperature-sensitive and have to be moved to winter holding areas behind-the-scenes.
This is a smaller zoo, they do not have those 3, but they have tons of other animals! Lions, Giraffes, moose, bear, wolves, lynx, and so much more! This is an amazing zoo, you will love it!

It changes now on a daily basis - the hwy department has been very good about putting up signs though, to let you know whether or not it is closed. If you don't see a sign, then you can assume it is open.
Strange & backward answer Don't respond if you don't know Thanks
Yes they are very good about letting you know why if they are not also!
Yes
Yep ^^^^^. You can also find this information on their website. Memberships are available if you plan to visit multiple times
Pets are not allowed in the zoo.
I dont think so possibly wheelchairs
You can go fishing at the pond by the parking lot, not inside the zoo.
Just give them a call I'm not sure.
Yes, check their website for events and activities.
No
The N.E.W. Zoo is $9 per adult. The Adventure Park is $25 per person for the full Adventure Package which includes the zip line, ropes course, and climbing wall.
It's a dollar and they give you some leaves, or lettuce, or other appropriate food. Be warned that some days the giraffes just don't want to come over and eat from people.
