bring your own equipment. shovel, pick, water to drink. And something to put your finds in. I would also bring something to sit on because if it has rained you will have a wet bottom. I don't know if they provide camping what are the cost of it the be prepared for something to eat or drink for your long dig cuz it is a ways to a store.
Bring your owl tools a shovel works well enough. Bring a bucket for your findings. Yes camping is free. Bring anything you would require if stranded on an island because there is nothing out there but the portapotty.
No tools are provided. What you need depends on how much work you want to put in. You can just use a small shovel and hand rack to go through the tailings or hammers and chisels etc to break open larger rocks. I found it useful to have a dish brush to wipe off the mud and clay on rocks to see and feel points better. I heard camping is free, but I haven't camped there yet. I believe the information is on the website though. Along with a good number to contact them.
