Shovel, umbrella for sure on most days. Strong hand tools/Garden tools I even use screwdrivers/knives wire or hard plastic brushes. Alot of times I'll leave the mud on them so no damage in transport. I carry a backpack with all my stuff & cloths to wrap my really good ones in

I bring a old potatoe digger, a scrub brush, buckets and a backpack. Bring some frozen bottles of water. There is some shaded areas you can hunt in when it's sunny and hot. Have fun I love going there.

Don't forget sunblock, and if you are going to dig in the pit I would suggest a sunbrella or EZ up canopy.

A cart, boxes for stones, water jugs to rinse, spades, hand rakes, shovel if you want to really get into the piles, sifter, gloves and rain or garden boots
