We stay at this Best Western about 4 times a year when traveling and we have dogs. There are specially assigned rooms for those with pets. All the dogs we've encountered, including ours, have been on leash. As far as I know this Best Western itself doesn't have an actual restaurant. They do a complimentary breakfast in the lobby and we have never seen any dogs there during the breakfasts. The closest actual restaurant next to the Best Western is the restaurant located in the Winnemucca Inn & Casino right next door. The Winnemucca Inn is the Best Western's sister location and they also allow dogs, but dogs are definitely NOT allowed in their restaurant. Any other restaurants in the area seem to be independent establishments, not associated with the Best Western, to our knowledge, so I'm guessing they have a no dog policy with the exception of certified service dogs. Hope that helps you out! Happy travels!
Hotel and guest people were great, didn't run into any dogs that I recall, but I bet don't think they tolerate any kind of misbehavior by 2 or 4 legged creatures!!
To tell the truth I don't know sorry.
I travel there frequently for work. I have never seen a dog there. That is not to say that they aren't there, but I have never seen them there. I also don't remember seeing many dogs at eating areas around town. There are a few options of where to eat so if you see a dog at one place, you can walk a few hundred feet to the next eating place.
