There is no age limit per se to kayak on the Raisin River as its public land. One must only follow the laws as outlined by the DNR. That being said Tecumseh Paddling may have their own age restrictions and of that I am not aware.
not aware of any age limit. the loop from the pond back to m50 is pretty simple. daughter and I did the loop about 3weeks ago, there were two low trees to navigate and the portage around the dam.
They opened the dam back up 2 days ago so the river is running strong and we haven't got all trees trimmed , so its iffy in a couple spots
