What is the road like to the caves? I noticed many switchbacks. Is it a safe road? Thanks you

It's paved and safe. We towed a 26' trailer without issue.

The road is safe; but cury. The caves are open; but the lodge and restaurants are closed as they continue to remodel the lodge.

It is curvy road rather than switchback. It is perfectly safe if you stick to instruction and speed limits mentioned on sign boards. Also visitor center at the caves mentioned that they will close the national park when road conditions are not safe. So it can be assumed that road is safe when park is functional.

It's a very curvy road. It is paved through just use caution when going on the switch back cuves it is a bit tight.
