Usually there's more than one patient in the ER I'd rather wait than to be rushed out the door, mistakes at the ER could cost someone's life, patience is a virtue, and a great way to stay alive!
Well they take their time before discharging anyone. They double check the paperwork. N Dr orders to release you properly.
