At the ER check-in, Heather the lady at the desk was so extremely kind, comfortable to talk to and very caring towards me and for others in the waiting area. She made the experience better even as we were walking out. Her personality was amazing even so late at night, I truly appreciated her kindness.

It was very mixed. Most of Monday was spent in the ER which was very dirty and appeared understaffed and lacked clean and adequate bathroom facilities (no stars there at all). After admission into room 215, it was excellent. nursing staff and others were very kind, caring, attentive and top notch. Also the staff involved in the stress test / ultrasound were excellent. Five stars for everything, except the ER.

I had surgery on 3/23 and I cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff from the time I was in pre-op to discharge. Supportive nursing staff, amazing aides, doctors were incredible. I wouldn’t hesitate coming back to Parkland for any other medical needs. Thank you all for being so awesome and kind.

On March 23, 2022, brought to this ER with an intestinal problem. I spent 3+ hours in a bed in the hallway. All rooms were full. I was one of the lucky ones to get a bed. Others in the hallway were in recliners. I was checked in quickly, seen by a nurse and the PA who took care of me throughout my visit all within an hour. I felt so bad for the staff, obviously overworked. The person who should be recognized is Dorothy, from the lab. She had worked the night shift, gone home to sleep for 3 hours, then reported back to work for the shift that would end at 10:00 pm. No apologies needed to patients who were not dying, OR were there for something that could have been treated by a PCP or urgent care. The medical staff is doing the best they can with what they have. STOP complaining! Thank China and your government for allowing this mess to happen. The nurse manager lost 10 nurses to a new program paying travel nurses $10,000 per week. Who runs this program??? Wake up!

Usually there's more than one patient in the ER I'd rather wait than to be rushed out the door, mistakes at the ER could cost someone's life, patience is a virtue, and a great way to stay alive!
I'm assuming that you're referring to the Hospital staff. If not, I'll try to help you out and answer whatever I can. I've never worked there but between me, my 3 kids ( adults now ) and my wife. We've been there quite a bit over the years. Hopefully I can help ya out. I don't know if there was a question prior to this one. If there was, I didn't see it. Thx T. B.
No appointments needed for regular X Ray's like a hand or foot etc. Just go to outpatient registration.
Hi Carrie I'm not from Parkland, I just wanted to tell you I also have Raynaud's. Probably not as severe as yours my fingers turn completely white when they get cold but no pain thank God. I know how scary it can be, and I hope they can help you. They should help you because I have severe migraines and another pain specialist helps me for those and back pain. Good luck . Pat Bowers
Ellen Francis, I walked and was seen immediately for kidney stones. Both times I have gone the waiting room was empty
