Yes get there pkenty early lots to see and do before the show. A dungeon tour for 2 dollars each, see the horses, bars open for drinks and shops open for browsing in tje medieval square
Depending on what show you go to if it's a later show don't have much of a option drop family at the door have them check in because it's first come first serve unless you purchase the VIP ticket too. But parking is very select in the later shows because your waiting for those people to exit to get a parking spot
Wouldn't push it more than 15 minutes. We got to the parking lot about 10 minutes late and there was still processing going on. Being late costs some of the experience but you won't get sent home.
