I paid using Booking.com and had no issues with overcharging. Probably because it was paid in advance.
Called and they said I had been overcharged and it would be 3-4 days before someone Even spoke to me, update spoke to corporate, they said the same thing. I had a feeling something was up when they kept my card at check in and I had to go back and she had it behind the counter. Also they didn't charge me until I left, and while I was there they stated they had an audit system, well either it doesn't work, or they deliberately we're not going to mention they over charged until I call. The whole thing just isn't adding up, I WILL NEVER BE BACK, and definitely don't trust them with you card info.
No they haven't overcharged me yet. But I will definitely look into it.
