Canned will not dry out when being baked.

It's just like at Meijer or Walmart or any other grocery store. You can buy mushrooms in cans, or you can buy them fresh in produce. Same thing as buying canned green beans or buying them fresh in the produce section. It's unfortunate and sad they laughed, but it kind of makes sense. It's canned vs fresh food.
