Beautiful park. Restrooms are currently closed for remodeling so change before you come. The channel has become much more active over the past years, and it's enjoyable just to watch the larger boats come in and out of the port. A must see if you ever visit Holland, Michigan.

Holland State Park is always a good time. It's unfortunate that they have closed all the public restrooms for construction, but the portable toilets are in the parking lot for temporary use.

The water is much cleaner than years ago. In June the water is still quite cool. In July you start getting days where the water starts to hit 70. And August it's usually the warmest but can cool down quickly if we get an east wind.
