Beautiful place. I really enjoyed walking around and seeing the lake. Lots of birds to watch. Would love to see this place in the summer.

Free parking and visions of grandeur IF you purchased the park pass with your license plate renewal. Otherwise... $8.00 to enter the park by auto
I believe its $9.00 for 24hrs for nonresident
There is a park just north of Holland called Kirk Park and there is a section that is actually a dog beach were the dogs can run and swim also lots of tails to hike.
Holland is built in a semi circle around lake Macintawa. I wouldn't say it's far but it is slow when it goes down to one lane.
