Nice little park with stairs going up and down a sand dune to a nice little beach. They charge for automobile entry, but you might be able to park across the road for free and just walk over. Good place for young children.

Pretty interesting idea. Walking through the dune instead of up and over only $8 to park and swim all day at the beach. Not bad. Nice clean showers. Clean restrooms. Clean water for showering afterwards. Probably going to do it again tomorrow

Wonderful place altogether. It's a crowded place. You can bring your family and food and stuff for beach enjoyment, volleyball and barbecue too. Very large place. They have paid parking but you can still park your cars for free further away in the residency area.

Great park for a variety of events. If you like rugged Beach snoozing, they've got you. If you like to run up and down the dunes, they've got you. Looked great for swimming. Playground with a large variety of equipment for the kiddos with deep sand as the base layer. Even have some snacks for purchase (vending machine) that takes a card. In to this place.

Yes, including pavilion, public bathroom, benches on the overlook, and a playground for the children.
The only fires you can have are in the grills, however they have been known to host the occasional dumpster fire.

Yes, pavilions must be reserved. Decorating is always okay. Hope her birthday turns out great!
There is a vehicle fee between Memorial Day weekend (Saturday) and Labor Day. Daily pass is $5 for a county resident; $7 for a non-resident. Annual pass is $15 for a resident and $25 for a non-resident.
Yes, you may bring your own grill. It must be on either cement or dirt and you must have a pan to collect any drippings. There are large grills at the park.
