If you are a beginner and have your own equipment and don't plan on using the lifts/cat walks, do you have to pay to be in the beginner area?

No but there is only one beginner area that doesn't have a lift. It's such a slight decline that many people have issues getting any momentum.

Anyone going out onto the snow must have a valid Lift Ticket (even for carpet lifts) and equipment.
