Carla when there is only one person working the service desk and they NEED to take a lunch they will shut it down for 30 minutes or so to take their lunch or break. Customer service desk is usually always understaffed but after a former employee had stolen a large amount money (in increments) they are VERY timid about who they allow to run the service desk to avoid it happening again. And it doesnt help that they keep telling customers that the service desk closes at 10pm when in reality they start shutting it down at 9.30ish to get everything they need to do done. But for anyone wondering as to why the customer service desk is closed mid day/afternoon its most likely because the person running it needed to either take a break or lunch and they didnt have another person to cover that break or lunch, so they had to shut it down for 15-30 mins.
They are closed constantly when they shouldnt be. People run the uscans who have no idea what they are doing. Its a mess.
