I am not sure if they allow pets, but I wouldn't let my pet rat stay in this motel. I HIGHLY suggest you find a different place to stay. Dirty and disgusting doesn't even begin to describe this place.
Yes, my friend has a big lab and they allowed her in. This is far from a deluxe property, but its ok for the price, close to Lake Shasta, and allows pets. I would suggest bringing your own bath towels and some bottled water. Just kind of think of it as a step up from camping. My friends and I were there when there were a lot of fires and smoke, so we appreciated getting out of the smoke and in to the air conditioning. Don't let Mermaid Mama scare you awsy, just realize its a 1 star property at best. You can get better places, but they will cost you 4 times as much!
Yes they do allow small dogs as long as they are kept on a leash. I'm Sorry but I do not agree with Mermaid Mama....I found this motel a nice refreshing change from. The big hotel chains
I went to rent a room after being stuck broke down for 18 hours, wanting to just clean up, sleep and relax. The desk clerk looked at me up and down, saying "no vacancy" and walked away. There was 5 cars in the parking lot. I was dirty, and tired, but there was no reason to refuse me a room. They are judgmental, and i would love to see them loose their business. To answer your question, i didnt get to ask about my dogs, so not sure
Had the same experience ... filthy. Nice people, but filthy. Will never ever stay there again.
Thanks for the reply. Mernaid mama may just be too picky. We just need a place to sleep for a few hours.we stayed there YEARS ago. The owners we so nice.
We have had our dog stay with us. The buildings are older than most places, and show their age. My wife and I stay at this place whenever we drive through. We love it. It is quieter and calmer than most big-box motels. The country feel of the big trees and quiet surroundings is great, with city services only a few blocks away.
