Had the same problem with my t-mobile phone bummer but as soon I got close to the exit it fired up maybe there is no towers or it's so well insulated.

Verizon doesn't work only near the bathroom and bingo hall for me but I found other carriers work well.
Depends where you are inside the casino,in some areas,you can't get reception,keeping moving
Cellphone coverage could be spotty depending on your phone and phone service. I know ATT works well inside, but Verizon seems to have issues. Maybe they do not have a near enough cellular tower.
