What are the Covid safety practices like here?

I found Safeway following covid policies. The staff has been helpful and very willing to help. Love the Friday only specials.

Rules of social distancing and masking not so strictly observed by many shoppers, and not strictly enforced by employees/security/authorities when a customer is not properly following rules. It's the issue of having to confront some shoppers' inconsiderate negligence, ignorance, defiance and potential belligerence, very eager to engage in politically charged confrontations, that the employees, who are always very kind and pleasant in my experience, shouldn't have to be subjected to the unpleasant situation of dealing with unpleasant people, but unfortunately that how it is with people who loosely loop masks on their ears while often failing to properly cover their noses and/or mouths in the midst of the pandemic.

Very good sanitary practices, friendly and helpful staff!
