My husband is an honorably discharged vet. from Vietnam He recently got the new Illinois driver's license that is supposed to be good to get him on to military bases. Will this work to get him on your base to go to the PX? He also gets a disability.

I am a disabled vet with "service connected" on my VA card. As of January 2020, I am allowed to visit and shop on base. I can also take visitors with valid ID

I agree. If he is a Vet he should have the blue ID. You can always call to check to be sure. I wouldn't want him to drive over there only to be told no and turned around.

To be honest, not sure. If he does not have the "blue" colored ID card, he might not be able to buy anything. I would call Scott AFB to get a more clear answer.
