To me, this trail is pretty easy and straightforward... Not too many extreme ups and downs. There is also several places you can easily step off the trail and get close to the water.
Yes, the trail is fairly wide and there is lots of places to stop near water. There is falls the whole way
I have NO IDEA what those other two answers are talking about. This trail is not difficult in the slightest as far as ups and downs go. BUT it is possibly one of the most difficult hikes around as far as balance issues go. There are points when the trail is lost to a little creek and you have to climb over and around wet rocks (I saw a large group of younger adults yesterday, tripping and falling their way across it.) Then there are areas where the trail narrows down to just a couple feet wide
