It's the forest.... Just do it, as long as your not in the state park or private property National Forest and BLM land is open for that
Yes. There is Malakoff Diggins state park (7 miles, 20 minutes) and South Yuba campground (2.1 miles, 7 minutes) up the other side of the bridge. Its a slow bumpy road. But Malakoff is worth the trip.
