We've stayed here twice now, first in 2019 when Bob & Jep owned and ran this B&B, and now in 2022 with Priya. The fact that we returned is a good indication that we liked it. Comfortable and somewhat typical B&B, with decent amenities like A/C (it can get hit in Nevada City summer) and good wifi. Very close, walking distance, to Broad street, the main commercial shopping district in Nevada City. Also a short drive to Grass Valley with lots of things offered there. The building itself is old and and charming, kept in good working order. There's a small creek running through the property that's one of the highlights. You can grab a chair and sit in the creek with your feet in the cool water. Plus the sound of running water is soothing.

The ABSOLUTELY best birthday ever at Gold Creek Inn! Bob and Jep are warm and welcoming hosts. Each room (we had a tour!) is unique and very comfortably appointed. The extra touches like coffee "stations" and warm treats are delightful. Great outdoor areas with fire pits and plenty of seating right on the creek. I can't wait to go back!

We are regular customers and we cannot imagine a more delightful place to stay. Our hosts are warm and interesting, the breakfasts are wonderful, and the river running through it is just amazing. Each unique room has lots of thoughtful touches. With downtown Nevada City restaurants a 5-minute walk, followed by evenings outside with wine and conversation around the fire on the water, we always look forward to our next stay!

Questions & Answers

Is there an ADA room?

Unfortunately this 1861 historical 5 room Victorian, build on the slope of the canyon, does not have an ADA room. You may want to look at the Gold Miner's Inn, as I know they have ADA rooms available. Thanks for your consideration. -Bob
