The dogs are not supposed to be in the carts but Wal-Mart advises employees to not make a big deal about it....I know because I worked there before.

I do not think animals should be allowed in only see and eye dogs that is all
People are gross and think that animals are equal with humans. You can't tell them that dogs and cats with their dander, fecal matter, and urine are any different from humans that should be showering and cleaning themselves daily. Society is moving in a direction where animals are valued and protected more than people. Maybe you should bag your food before putting in the cart or bring your own cart. Not all food is sealed by the way. There's a food category called produce that is often unsealed.
These are supposed to be guide dogs but everyone brings them in. As long asthey are small and bothering anymore, I don't care .
I dont know and really dont care its good some stores allow pets
The food is sealed even if the animal was in the cart the food wouldnt be contaminated
