Stood out in the rain today while store manager argued with me about policy regarding furniture pick-up. Apparently customers are not allowed to pick up items in more than one trip...due to the potential inconvenience of not returning to pickup balance of purchase. So if you buy something, be prepared to follow strict guidelines dictated by rude employees. Used to be a pleasant place to browse and find some interesting items, but not worth the hassle any more. Maybe they will discover the value of respecting and appreciating the paying customer. Buyer beware.

A great place. Lots of good quality things for good prices. My husband purchased an oak roll top desk, a small China hutch and a love seat for a very low price and all were in very very good condition. I’m very pleased. Also the staff there is kind and friendly and very helpful.

I’m not sure what’s happened here. There used to be 2 wonderful polite gentleman that were helpful and genuine. The woman at the dock was extremely rude (to another donor) she refused their dresser and couch after making them clean it! After I dropped my stuff off I went inside and I can’t believe the prices! Used, dated furniture for the same price as I could order new on Amazon. It feels like they have lost their original purpose of helping lower income families. I’ll donate my things elsewhere.

You can find things for every room in your house at very reasonable prices. You must check every week because their stock comes and goes and you might just need something you haven't thought about. Bring a bag and ideas and make someone's give-a-way your treasure.

They usely get new sets weekly. Beautiful sets come in all the time.
If you mean things like walkers. Canes, wheelchairs, adjustable bed frames and/or guard rails, lift chairs, crutches, slings and other items like that I believe they would and if not I would strongly recommend donating them to elder care facilities. I don't believe items such as bandages, otc treatments such as peroxide or anything with sanitary concerns such as bathroom assistance devices can be accepted anywhere officially however I'm sure someone would be grateful to take them if you post an ad offering them for free on the Facebook market place.
I don't think they 'buy' items. It's a donation center.
No it must be open and on specific days only so call ahead
Yes, you have to make an appointment.
Hello Flo! Please visit our website newburghrestore.org for donation drop off hours - thank you!
As they depend solely on volunteers, pickup is often much later than a person wants to wait for. If you can get it there yourself,...much faster.
They do pick up but you should call to schedule this. They have a limited schedule for pick-up and their schedule gets filled up quickly. They also take drop offs during store hours.
Not really sure but I live about 35 minutes away and they were willing to come. I just had to wait for them to come in that could take up to a couple of weeks
When I tried to give them upholstered furniture, they declined. Perhaps different today.
Im gonna say yes since there are some of us that still use those things lol
Best to check off and on, but in general I have not seen a large selection of those kinds of items. More furniture, books, fixtures, dishes, etc
Their beds are very reasonably priced, although I'm not certain about mattresses. Frames, head and footboards- definitely.
No
It's a hit or miss...but they do sometimes!
I've only ever seen items dropped off, but you should call and ask them
