Allow a good hour and half to get to the actual park. Plenty of places to stop in this time for pictures as the drive is stunning. There is a toilet just over half way once you have gone through the park entry point which is where you pay. This is accessible after less than 25 minutes
To reach the main attractions inside the valley it takes approx 70 minutes in normal traffic from Best Western. The road is uphill and zigzag. Thus many vehicles prefer to drive well below the specified speed limit. Further there are very few places where one can pass the preceding vehicle.
