After a long day of hiking, Idle Hour was a wonderful, relaxing experience. The service was amazing, and the wine delicious. And they have beer choices, which my husband loved. A must-visit when in Oakhurst!

Fantastic hidden gem. Look out for the asphalt road down the hill on the left. They are improving the entire establishment, us locals love this special place. Award winning wines, wonderful owners and the nicest staff in Oakhurst. The food at this quaint little restaurant and world class winery will surprise you. The chef puts together some wonderful local ingredients creating delightful dishes that inspire the best cooks to be better. The Orange and Honey salad was one of the best salads I've ever had in a restaurant. I had just a taste of it with my Italian panini. Let yourself enjoy a break from the normal

SO GOOD! The food is absolutely delicious, wine is great and the service just perfect. Sitting on the porch is nice even on a vary hot day. Highly recommend.
