You can camp pretty much anywhere you'd like. There are also designated campgrounds if you desire basic amenities. Please pack out what you pack in, make absolutely sure any campfire is dead out, and enjoy our beautiful mountains and forests.
In order to have a fire on federal land you must have a burn permit, which can be obtained at the forest service building.
It all depends on where you want to camp they do have small legs I know going to Quincy up Highway 36 has several designated areas but just to go out and have big Wilderness and just camp just anywhere I'm not sure they allow that you will probably have to call the Forestry Department
