Clean rooms friendly staff, little pricey but what isn't these days

Staff seemed friendly. Big Bathroom , but the Blankets stunk so bad . I had to strip the bed down and sleep with no Blankets. I covered up with clothes out of my suitcase. So needless to say, I got no sleep. Power went out which was not their fault, It was out all night so I had no air circulation, Screen was off so could not open the window for air. Could not ask for fresh linen because office and all the parking lights were off. Housekeeping needs to get it together. I don't think the blankets had been washed, well ever on a positive note. They don't have bed bugs. Yet.

we stayed only one night rather than the two we had booked. the best things about this motel is the air conditioning worked very well and there is an in room refrigerator. We were not comfortable with the cleanliness, the beds or the condition of the furniture. the power outlets in the room were inconvenient at best, no accommodation made for charging devices, not even an alarm clock with usb was provided, lamp shades were not placed in a way that protected your eyes from blinding light when fixtures were turned on and the one window in the room was covered with a black out curtain. The best we can say to describe the space is that it was not decorated or arranged as kind to travelers. The two beds advertised as queen were actually full sized and the room too small for them, so both pushed up at the walls, blocking the access to the window. the bathroom walls were handprint stained and the bathroom was not maintained well, the tub surround was grimy at the seams. The people running the motel were very nice and the motel was quiet enough.

Very clean. Comfortable bed...and four nice pillows. When we got there it was over 100° outside. We were very happy to discover they had precooled the room AC was set at 64° and it was wonderful. Nice thoughtful selection of stuff to eat in the morning plus fresh coffee. One of the nicer places Ive stayed.
