I would not try it but it would fit. Problem is that vehicles we encountered drove very fast and often across white line so no room to maneuver.
I recently went in a huge Ford F450 with camper shell and had no issues. Granted it was a weekday and not as crowded as usual, but if you're comfortable in a big vehicle it wouldn't be a problem IMO.
It is true that the road is a bit narrow, but it's not scary. When we were there last weekend a small bus from a retirement community came to pick up a group of people who had gone for a walk. That bus made it just fine.
Lurana is right. You CAN get it in, but not recommended with the sharp roads and fast cars flying by.
