We tent camped and trailer camped put all food in cars each night brought trash to dumpsters each night and had no problems we where there for a week on August 2018 when asking about the bears they said there are some but haven't had an issue in years planning another trip back this summer
They enforce all campers not to leave any food out at night, even the coolers, packed in the car is desirable. I have never seen any bears in my many years of going.

I haven't heard of any problems with bear but that's not saying something couldnt happen theres always a slight chance
There are plenty of bears around at that campground. I would just suggest keeping your food or anything with a smell, where a bear is attracted to, or can get to it.
