Fires are allowed on most of the beaches. Check for signs at the entrance to the beach to make sure though. My advice is to bring dry kindling along and dont build your fire in the driftwood because it could spread rapidly. Please be sure to put out your fire with water and sand and stir it to be sure its out.

Can I have a fire on the beach? Small, controlled fires, 2' by 2' are allowed on the beach. Please be mindful and keep fires away from beach grass and driftwood. Extinguish your fire completely with water when you are done; buried fires can remain hot for several hours and potentially burn an unsuspecting foot or paw. Check the fire danger level before setting up your fire.

I don't think that they are.
