Animals have always been more active and people have been less on rainy days so honestly this would be the type of day I like to go.
If there is rain but no lightning or thunder within 16 miles of the zoo then it's a great time to go. However, the large cats get pulled inside if there is lightning in a 6-10 mile radius and the giraffes are pulled in if the thunder is in a 16 miles radius or closer.
Yes. Agreed. Just pack extra dry chlothes and a couple ponchos
You can still go and a couple things will be closed down but the majority of the zoo will still be open. However if you dont like to be rained on then you probably shouldn't go
