Do you get a free pumpkin when you pay admission for the attractions like you do at most pumpkin patches or are the pumpkins an extra charge?

We didn't get a pumpkin. Maybe they have specials for year-end clearance, but I've never heard of it.

Nope// I've never been to any "patches" where pumpkins are free. Even on school field trips they're part of the admissions. As someone already said the small ones r really cheap. Look at it this way-- it's their business--their job.& farming is hard work.

Yes

If you go in a large [school] group a small pumpkin may be included in the admission.

When I went to pick 🍑 there was no admission fee I paid for the a bucket to fill

I didn't ask if they were free, I asked if a pumpkin was part of the admission price. Every pumpkin patch I've ever been to you pay the admission and that includes attractions and a pumpkin. I was just wondering if it were the same at the farm.
