Rain shouldnt be an issue unless you want to participate in the adventure park outside aloof the walking trail previously mentioned. They also do boat tours to see dolphins, but im not certain how rain effects those. Majority is inside when i was there 3 weeks ago the outside seal exhibit was being renovated so there was nothing too see then. Still had a blast and yes it rained, no we didn't get wet, if you have a chance to go yoy won't regret it rain or shine
If you are going for the indoor exhibits only, you can drive between buildings.
Most things are inside, so rain won't be a big deal. There's a walking trail, though, that connects the two buildings.
Yes this is an indoor and an outdoor aquarium. They've a very nice marine Seal exhibit outside of the entrance.
