Bridge entrance is free, however the botanical gardens has a required donation box of 5 dollars a person, and the turtle bay section does have a charge as well, either for day use up to a year pass

There is No Fee to walk across the bridge. If you visit the botanical gardens there are boxes to drop donations. Making a donations is not required.
