Looking to stay in March, in a tent on the back of my husband's truck. He wants to be away from people, I want to be sure we are sheltered from cold winds. Any suggestions as to which site number would be best?

There is a video tour on the website of the campsites I believe.

There is a video on you tube that shows a picture of each campsite in numerical order. In March you should have a lot of sites to choose from, in the past the if the park is nearly empty the rangers will let you drive around the park and pick the campsite you like, even if you have a spot reserved.

Reserve now! There is a map of the sites online and actual photos of each site. If i remember correctly there are hedges that block the wind mostly.

Sorry I'm not familiar with numbers but I'd think the ones up the small hill on the southern end
