Loved the property! I stayed in the Dog Cottage (cottage 3) and it was so cute! Dog art on the walls and dog themed bedding. It has an attached private carport on each side so no neighbor walls are near the cottage. It was MUCH bigger than I'd imagined, with a full kitchen with a 4 burner stove and oven cabinets with cooking utensils and dining ware and a full size fridge and microwave. The bathroom was big and so neat and clean! Big, deep bathtub, plenty of toiletries. The main room has the bed (which was VERY comfortable even though it was very firm compared to what I'm used to) a little 2 person dinette (with placemats!) a nitestand with a lamp, nice bright overhead lights with a ceiling fan, a small antique dresser, a large smart tv and a really cute electric fireplace/heater! Pretty blinds and blackout curtains for privacy. This is classic beach vacation - 60's/70s style. Each cottage has a little patio table and chairs on their little front stoop. It looked like some in the back have decks? I'll have to look at that next time. The staff was very friendly and helpful by phone - checking in and out was remote and a piece of cake! I took my 3 big dogs and was happy to have lots of places to walk them on the grounds. I definitely recommend this place and can't wait to go back! I love this place and I highly recommend it! I'll definitely be staying there again.

This was a nice little motel/cottages. They have dog friendly rooms which is why we stayed here. We booked 1 night and overall the room was pleasant. It had a small little kitchen w a stove. It did have a weird smell to it but we just opened the windows. I highly recommend this place if you plan on staying a few nights and have puppies with you.

My Husband and Just returned from spending our birthday weekend, we stayed in cottage #1 the Dolphin Cottage was really clean you can see some aging regarding to the plumbing pipes the tub was deep and very clean and the refrigerator on the outside has corrosion from the sea air. we really enjoyed the pet friendly grounds and the covered parking, It would of been nice if the TV was mounted on the wall and not on top of a tall wardrobe, the heat source was a fake fireplace no flame but the heat work really well. The front desk gal was really nice and very professional we need ed towel she gave us more. We visit Fortbagg CA at least 5 times a year and for sure will be staying here again my 61st and husbands 56 birthday memories staying at the Shoreline Cottage was nice and relaxing thank you the Bancrofts

I rented cottage number 7. The manager was pleasant both on the phone and in person. Road noise from highway 1 was minimal. The pictures posted on the website where a little dated. It was clean. The place could use a fresh coat of paint both inside and out. There is no vent fan in the bathroom. The bathroom window is low enough that I did not feel comfortable having it open while I showered (more specifically when I got out to dry off). The refrigerator, stove, and oven were all clean. I was pleasantly surprised to find there were pots, pans, dishes, cups, a coffee maker, a toaster, and utensils for both cooking and eating. There is a grassy area in the center for taking your dog to go potty. There is a trash can on either side in which to deposit your pet's potty bags. I have and will recommend it to friends who have dogs that they take with them on vacation. I will stay there again in the future.

They are super pet friendly. They even have a dog themed room.
I had a private patio with a large jetted bathtub. Sun suite and surf suite i think are the names of those rooms. Had small fridge and microwave. $170 or $180 average a night, I think. I had a dog. Late December (including Christmas).
