Dale Hollow dam campground
Wendy, the designated accessible sites are by the boat ramp. This is as far as you can possibly get from the little path to the fishing area but it's near bathrooms, flat, and the table and fire pit are built to suit wheelchair use. They hold those spots back for people who have a placard so they may be available when most of the place is booked. My limited mobility parents, however, always choose a site that's a fully paved, flat, RV pull-through instead to be closer to the walking path and fishing area. However, the path itself is quite rough in places from tree roots and poses a real challenge for a scooter. And there aren't many places along the fishing creek that you can roll up to easily.
Camp ground or camp site? I believe that's the dates of the fish rode and sites are usually pretty booked. The campground website has a map showing every site number and if they are booked or not.
We are trying to get a site closer to the fishery the weekend of June 7-9. We have a couple that are handicapped and just trying to find the most efficient area for them to have close access to bathrooms, etc.
