Is the whole length of the bike trail paved or gravel. I know it runs for 6-8 miles each way.

The path runs from Waterville's Farnsworth Park to Grand Rapids and is mostly covered with a very fine gravel.

Most of it is gravel due to the canal boat, for the donkeys.
