This park is so beautiful, big, welcoming and literally has something for every type in the family, and room for every one in the family too. From swings and slides, to gorgeous trails for walking and bicycling, to creeks, nature hikes and birthday parties!! Stunning setting.

Beautiful park centrally located in Eureka, CA. There's a playground, duck pond, lots of hiking trails and fun place to explore. This is a huge park, always something new to see. Well preserved nature setting, feels just like the forest in it's original form.

Absolutely stunning. Wonderful park to stroll with loved ones, walk your dog(s), take a run, have a picnic, or play on the playground. There's so many things to do here. I highly recommend this park 5 all ages.

I absolutely loved it here!! There were a lot of dogs while I was there .. everyone on the trail used leashes ( not in playground though..dog off leash with family throwing ball) I wondered all over it was amazing beautiful esp right in the middle of the city!! The lake and babbling brooks were such a bonus!!

Coast redwoods' scientific name is Sequoia sempervirens. So called because they are able to propagate themselves after being cut down. Giant Sequoias such as those found in Tulare County are called Sequoiadendron giganteum. Both are members of what was once a highly diverse and widespread genus of which only three species are known to live today. The third is Metasequoia glyptostroboides commonly called the dawn redwood. At the parking area to the south of the park, you can find a row of dawn redwoods.
They have a gazebo that could be used for wedding nuptials. Probably have to rent your own chairs and such. They have several picnic tables, but definitely call the Sequoia Park Zoo for dates to be certain. Congratulations!
Yes leash only I believe, but I think u can fetch with dog in grass area...lots of kids running and playing.
Yes they are and make sure to grab a poop bag before hand.
Just a couple. If you go to the left as you go in the trail is easiest. Got to the left and it's a bit Stafford. Basically a big loop
