Park has canal ride and Ludwig Mill. There are several walking trails along the canal and through out the park. Public restrooms and picnic areas available.

Great park, lots of trails and nice views, as well as a cool canal boat ride and a saw/ flower mill open to the public. Watch out for bikers, there are a lot od them.

Amazing and very fun! I enjoyed the history and never been in a canal boat before. I'd definitely do it again and recommend the experience if you haven't already. Thank you Providence Metro Park.

We visited the Ludwig Mill and rode the canal boat on this beautiful Saturday afternoon. The historical interpreters in both places were really good! I must give a special shout-out to Skeeter, the guy who did the talking on the Volunteer, the canal boat. He provided a wonderful mix of jokes, seriousness and historical information about the part canals played in Ohio and beyond. ... Thanks Skeeter!! And the rest of you too...

The dam is there so water is fast paced and the bottom is rock slabs with erosion no sign is posted stating no but itll be at your own risk
All tightly packed pea gravel except for about 1 mile in Farnsworth...
