I have a hard time walking up steps and anything with a incline is the tunnel easier than the ramp when walking to the main part of the zoo?

There is an elevator that will take you down the tunnel and one to come back up.

The tunnel under would be easier. The elevator near the fountain will take you down.

Just be aware that if it rains beforehand, the tunnel will be wet. Otherwise, yes, use the elevator and take the tunnel across.

I think it is, but you have to either the stairs or an incline to walk up to the tunnel.

Much easier. And cooler.
