Very few restrictions, fyi, get in line for the aquarium as soon as you get there
They are open to everyone.
We went about a month ago and it was great. Penguin exhibit was closed but thats about it.. Even the splash pad was open for the kids to play in! Plus they have some new activities
They have some like staying six feet behind each other, but family or friends can stay together. Some of the exhibits have a zoo worker only letting a certain amount of people into the exhibit. However, whole family and friends can enter together. What I liked about the zoo was people laughing, smiling and being kind to each other. You three year old will be happy, too.
Just go as soon as they open and do the aquarium and museum and whatever other indoor (mask required indoors) things you want to do first so there isn't a line then when it gets busier you can just be outside looking at those animals not waiting in line. Be prepared to eat outside also. I wouldn't recommend leaving to eat, just eat there.
no they aren't. There are some things closed but not as much as the Detroit zoo.
