It isn't "fast food." If you cook chicken at home (for instance), it takes about 15-20 minutes to go from getting the chicken out of the fridge, seasoning it, and grilling it slowly enough that it's tender, juicy and thoroughly done. If the chicken, steak or fish were pre-cooked, they wouldn't have the taste and texture of fresh- cooked food.
