Public WiFi is dangerous if you have any private information on your device
I would NOT use the public WI-FI. While at the mall, my security feature always warns me that it has been compromised by a third part source.
I am not sure. Maybe you can ask at the customer service desk next time you are there. They should be able to help you.

Ive had trouble with my Google pixel connecting to there WiFi i just downloaded a VPN app from the app store and it connects now
