After a few incidents where children had been injured by falling units/after climbibg on them, ikea now suggests almost all their furniture is anchored for safety reasons. When you purchase the piece you want it will come with all the instructions and tools you'll need. However, the tools arent very good (mini wrench and allen key). Things are much easier to assemble with proper, full sized tools and a drill if you own it. Finally, there are tons of instructions booklets posted online and a sinple google search should help you find what you're lookinh for.
Call the help desk. They would have more accurate info. Anchoring to the wall is for safety concerns.
I would call the helpdesk. The items are usually not difficult to put together if you follow the plan. Anchored to the wall is usually only for safety so the item doesn't fall forward.
I would call them.or call besta them self.wish i could help u more
