My dog and I love walking this trail. It’s a great trail to walk, well maintained and very clean. The mosquitoes get really bad in the summer months so make sure to bring bug spray. There’s also all kinds of wildlife. I see deer frequently, turkeys, plenty of rabbits, frogs, turtles, owls if you are lucky enough to spot them and I’ve seen bats flying around occasionally. I’m there in the morning around 7:30am and I rarely run into people. Even when there are other cars in the parking lot in the evening I can still walk the trail and not run into anybody else which for me is a positive. It does flood from time to time in heavy rain storms so keep that in mind if you want to go after some heavy rain. I’ve gone 3 times this year and it’s been too flooded to walk. It’s not a confusing trail system at all so it’s virtually impossible to get lost.

What a great time we are having, this trail is so beautiful. Very clean and not too busy for my liking. My son and I will definitely be back.

Yeah this state park was gigantic, fantastic honestly but please clear the bike course it feels like ur constantly being wacked by branches .

Very nice place to hike and bike. Less crowded, many trails and spacious walking routes. With Willow Run airport close by, kids will be able to see the airplane take off / landing from close proximity

No
Yes. Very easy, flat trail.
The trails are mostly flat and beautiful. Makes for a great ride!!
You can drive to a parking area but not on the walking/biking trails.
Turning North on S. Morton Taylor Rd from Michigan Avenue will take you to a nice gravel parking lot leading to several trails.
There are no grills or picnic tables. More of a hiking and biking area.
From Michigan Ave westbound turn right (north) onto Morton Taylor Rd. The road ends at the park.
Not if you're planning on eating the fish.
No motor vehicles
If you're riding a mountain bike I would try the I-275 bike route. If you're on a road bike or something within thin tires I would avoid this route.
