I'm sure you figured it out by now, if not speak to Dave he knows his stuff and won't throw smoke. If nothing else there are ways to rent pistols to see what feels right. Personally my Taurus G2C works quite well without any malfunctions after a few thousand rds down range. Just get to know your carry and practice at least every other week
Taurus G2C. Small and light without being too small to shoot properly, and it's hard to argue with a $200 gun that works every time. If it gets ruined, lost, stolen, or taken by the police after a shooting it's no huge loss. 500rds with no malfunctions so far.
