It's about $3/load to wash and I believe for every $0.25 spent you get six minutes in the dryer.
Hi Ms. Smith, I can't give a direct answer to your question for several reasons. 1. Every one has a different view of what constitutes an 'average load'. 2. We have 5- price choices on washing machines and two on dryers. 3. (Note that the most costly dryer has a much larger capacity - which lowers the cost per pound of load.) 4. Another factor would relate to the density of the material that you are laundering - especially in the dry cycle. 5. oh! and winter is coming, that means heaver clothing and colder air outside. We are required to draw the air for our dryers from the out of doors to insure that gas- fired dryers do not ruin anyone's day. Affect's dry time and cost. AT THE END OF THE DAY it is your money so your answer is the right answer. Please try to stop by and check us out. Take note that there is a two page note on the wall just past the changers that will answer that question with more complete info. Carl
