Any news on the algae in the water? Seen about a month or 2 ago, is that problem gone?

Toxic algae is still present and the park rangers advised against getting into the waters esp if you have children or pets with you. There are signs everywhere about it too. I just went last week and we opted out of doing The Narrows for that reason. People were still getting in though.

I agree with Jeff; we just visited the park last week. The algae is supposedly still prevalent in the water; we actually chose to forego the Narrows river walk (past the paved part) due to it. Plenty of other hikes are open

Nope. It's still in the water. You can get in and walk through the rivers and creeks at your own risk.
